● Chase the Ace – River John Legion. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets sold 6:30-8:30 p.m. with draw at 9 p.m. Tickets three for $5, seven for $10.00 and 15 for $20. Jackpot started at $2,000. Must be present to win. Music by The Geezer.

● RTO Meeting – The Pictou Branch of RTO will hold their AGM at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army Hall in Westville (across from Tim Hortons). The new executive for the upcoming year will be elected at this meeting, so please attend.

● Old Time Dance – 7:30 p.m. at West Branch Community Hall. Music by The MacKinnons plus Marilyn, Alvin and Tracy; Roger Simms, calling. Lunch served, shared sweets. Admission $7.

● Star of the Sea Centre – 26 St. Stephen Street, Pictou, hosting a yard sale and garden party 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with the garden party beginning at 11 a.m. Live music, food and drinks, games.
