Book Sale – Sister Catherine

Steele Centre. 10 a.m.-noon. Sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes CWL. Indoor Yard Sale – at Summer Street Industries, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., 72 Park Street, New Glasgow. Canteen services on site. Free admission.

Old Time Dance – in the Lorne community hall, 8-11 p.m.. Music by the Bible Hill Swingsters. Admission $6 shared lunch.

Advance tickets sold at following vendors (cash only): Tartan Blade Barbershop (from Monday morning-Saturday at 4 p.m.), Cornish’s Variety, Crossroads Country Market and Needs in Trenton (from Monday morning each day until 8 p.m. only up to Saturday at 8 p.m.), Branch #29, RCL, Trenton (WednesdayS­aturday from 12-8 p.m.). Tickets will also be sold on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Trenton Legion and Trenton Rink. Draw at the rink shortly after 5 p.m. Winner will be called if not present. Jackpot this week is $166,073. Ages 19 and over only.

Ham/Salad and Strawberry Supper – at St. Andrew’s Presbyteri­an Church Hall in Gairloch, 4-6 p.m. Adults $10, children $5.

Summertime Breakfast – at St. David’s Presbyteri­an Church at the Toney River Community Hall, from 7:30-10 a.m.

Strawberry Tea – The annual Rose Fraser Strawberry Tea will be held in the Durham Community Hall, 3-5 p.m.
