Several vendors participat­ing throughout town. ● Auction 45s – Trenton Legion 1 p.m. $10/person and teams of 2 required. ● Benefit Breakfast – For James Leslie, 8-10 a.m. or until sold out. Durham Church Hall. Everyone welcome. Gluten free on request. Donations at the door. ● Valley View Cemetery – East River St. Mary’s. Annual clean up day starting at 8 a.m. Bring shovels, rakes etc.

● Annual Rose Fraser Strawberry Tea – Durham Community Hall, 3-5 p.m. Enjoy old-fashion strawberry shortcake heaped with local berries along with an assortment of sandwiches, tea, coffee or punch. Pantry table. Wheelchair accessible. Take Hwy 376 to Durham, cross the bridge and turn right. ● Chase the Ace – at Trenton Rink and Trenton Legion. Tickets sold from 1-5 p.m. with draw to follow at rink. Advance tickets availabe at regular vendors from Monday until 8 p.m. Sat. (4 p.m. at Tartan Blade). 10 cards remaining and this week’s jackpot is $197,708.

● Monday Music – Alexander MacNeil in concert at 7:30 p.m. at Green Hill-Alma United Church. Admission $10 or pay what you can. Part of the Monday Music in Alma Summer Series. ● Adapted Recreation Activity – hosted by the Let Abilities Work Partnershi­p Society for people with physical weaknesses or limitation­s. Archery at 2 p.m. at Pictou Quarry behind Town Barn on Brown’s Point Road.

● Fun Day – Little Harbour Community Centre, 1-3:30 p.m. For children ages 5-12. Afternoon will consist of low organized and water games, crafts, sports and much more. ● Barneys River Station School Museum – Open until Aug. 29, noon-5 p.m. daily (closed Mondays). A building as old as Confederat­ion. Explore community and educationa­l education history in artifacts, photos, books, scrapbooks and more. Take exit 29 south off of Trans Canada 104.

Until Oct. 1

● Life of Jean – This museum installati­on visually captures the life of a Nova Scotia “everywomen” (19212014), revealing layers of meaning through the power of photograph­s. Free admission. Museum of Industry, 147 North Foord St., Stellarton. Open Mon.- Sat. 9-5 p.m. and Sunday 10-5 p.m.
