● Remembranc­e Day Skate – Trenton Parks & Recreation sponsoring free skate at the Trenton Minor Sports Community Centre 1-2:30 p.m. Compliment­ary hot chocolate and cookies. Helmets mandatory. Sponsored by Active Pictou County and the Province of Nova Scotia. Donations will be accepted on site for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29 Trenton.

● Women Alike Group – Meeting at Glen Haven Manor (back door) 7 p.m. Guest speaker Dave MacLean from Pharmacy First and Vickie MacLeod speaking about makeup. This is a meeting for breast cancer survivors. A few snacks provided at the end.

● Pictou County Parkinson Support Group – will meet, 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room of the Atlantic Superstore. Special guest Don Carter speaking about hand tremors.
