Camella Keith Jordan, 81 of Trafalgar Road, Riverton, Pictou County, formerly of Stellarton, passed away peacefully Jan. 9, 2018, at home with family at her side.

Born in New Glasgow on Nov. 11, 1936, in a snowstorm, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Bell) Chikness.

She married Raymond Jordan on Jan. 11, 1958, and had the opportunit­y to travel Europe when Raymond was posted overseas. In her younger years she loved to garden, read and take care of her pets and family. She loved all her grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children with all her heart, always worrying about everybody.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond, children: Tammy (Dave), Kim (Dale), Heidie (Bert), grandchild­ren: Ryan, Ian, Adam, Sienna, Maddy, Emma, Makayla and Allana, her beloved pets, Luckey and Muffy, sisters: Helen, Alyce, Linda, brothers: Earl (Diane), Billy, Fred (Polly), sistersin-law, Hazel, Melba, brother-in-law, John Farrell, special friends, Ann Marshall, Dorothy Bonvie and the staff at Poulain’s Pharmacy in Stellarton.

She was predecease­d by sisters: Kitty, Margie, Theresa, Ruth, Jessie, brothers: Johnny and Jimmy. Cremation to take place.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson presiding. A reception will follow in the funeral home.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Camilla may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society.
