H. Joyce MacNutt

H. Joyce MacNutt, 87, of Westville passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at her home.

Born in Hopewell, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Myrtle (Fraser) MacDonald.

Just a lovely person, Joyce was a soft spoken, caring one. She enjoyed taking walks and caring for her plants. She was a faithful member of St. Paul United Church, where she had taught Sunday School for many years. She worked at Zellers, Clairtone, Boyd’s Bakery, and retired from Michelin.

She will be dearly missed by her sons, Bryant (Shirley) and Kevin (Donna), all of Westville; grandchildren: Amy MacNutt, Shelley Murphy (Ken); Kenda Goyette (Chris), Kelly Finamore (Dave), and Justin MacNutt (Tallis); great-grandchildren: Theo, Halle, Reese, Charlee, Asher, and Bo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lindsay “Lindy”; infant grandchild, Landon Jake Finamore; sister, Agnes MacKenzie, and brother, Haldie MacDonald.

Joyce is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, with visiting on Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Mary Taylor officiating. Spring burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
