Annie May Halliday of Ridgeway and formerly of Port Colborne passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late William Halliday (1984), loving mother of Ida (Paul) Horvath and Elizabeth (Kevin) Shewan, dear grandmothe­r of Paul (Christine) Horvath Jr., Tara (Simon) Grant, Kascindra Shewan and Cameron Shewan, greatgrand­mother of Reese Horvath and Charlotte Grant and Tricia Grant, sister of Alice MacKenzie, sister-in-law Marjorie Thompson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predecease­d by her daughter, Carrie Florence Halliday, and her son, Gerald Halliday, her siblings, Leonard Thompson, Art Thompson, Ross Thompson, Robert Thompson, Catherine Stewart and Warren Thompson.

The Halliday family will receive visitors at the Davidson Funeral Home, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne, on Friday, January 12, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 9:30 until the time of the Funeral service in the Davidson Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Overholt Cemetery.
