Annie Elizabeth MacLaughlin
Annie Elizabeth MacLaughlin, 93 of North Street, Westville, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, the Aberdeen Hospital, with her family at her side.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late John
A. and Margaret (Watters) Fraser. As a young child, she moved to Tanner Hill Road where she lived until her marriage. Elizabeth enjoyed her gatherings with the Common Card Club and playing Bingo.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-greatgrandmother, she will be dearly missed by her daughters, Carol Clark (Bill), Gail Fraser (Fred); sons, Gary; Wayne (Terry), and Kevin (Lisa); grandchildren: Scott and Tracey; Kim, Justin, Stephanie, Jarrett, Kandace and Lane; Shaun and Holly; Jason and Megan; Lindsey and Blair; 19 great grandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren. Very close with her sisters, Elizabeth is also survived by her sister, Laurren Stoffmehl; sisterin-law, Dot Fraser; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood “Bubby”; grandson, Chris Clark; sisters, Ruth Fraser, Doris Logan, and Isabel Wright; brothers, Earl and Cecil.
There will be no visitations or funeral service by her request. A private family gathering will take place 1 p.m. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville. Donations in her memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
