SYLVESTER – Peter Frank Cripps, age 75 of Sylvester, Pictou County, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in England, he was the son of the late Frank and May Cripps.

He loved his Lord and was a devoted member of Master’s Hand Ministries.

Survived by his devoted wife, Evelina (Fitzgerald); son, Matthew (Naiomi) of Tatamagouc­he; daughters: Dawn (Gary) Ogilvie and Sarah-Jo Simpson, both of England. Stepchildr­en: Renee Miller of P.E.I., Mark Miller of Sylvester, Vaughn Miller of P.E.I. and John (Lisa) Forbes of B.C. Also surviving are numerous grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren.

As per Peter’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

A celebratio­n of Peter’s life will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at 2 p.m. for family and friends at 473 Upper River John Road, Tatamagouc­he, with Pastor Caroline Barclay officiatin­g. Donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Palliative Care of the Aberdeen Hospital.
