NEW GLASGOW – Kathleen Virginia Graham, 81, New Glasgow, formerly of Kenzieville, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late George Earl and Katherine Theresa (Boutlier) MacDonald.
She was a switchboard operator for the former MT&T for many years where she was able to work from home. She was employed with St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, in the Admissions Office, before retiring and spending time with her family, travelling to Florida and riding her motorcycle. She found great joy spending time with her family especially during the holidays.
Surviving are daughters, Linda (Pat) Loftus, Phoenix, Ariz.; Terri Graham Mason, New Glasgow; Doris Graham, Halifax; sons, Bill (Angela) and Karl (Nancy), Kenzieville; Paul (Cheryl), Calgary; Gary (Shauna), Amherst; brother, Harold (June) MacDonald, Thorburn; grandchildren, Diedre, Bill, Patrick, David, Graham, Eric, Cameron, Michael, Melissa, Karen and William; numerous greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, William Edward Graham; daughter and sonin-law, Karen and Paul MacDonald; son-in-law, Warren L. Mason Jr.; sister, Virginia; brother, Earl in infancy; sister-in-law, Doris Margaret Oliver; brother-in-law, Milton Oliver.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Interment will be in Kenzieville Cemetery.
