7 p.m. Guest speaker Wanda McKenna talking about new treatment for cancer – Cold Cap. This is a meeting for breast cancer survivors. A few snacks will be provided at the end.

• NFB Film Club – Finding Dawn, Pictou library 1 p.m., about the deep historical, social and economic factors that contribute to the epidemic of violence against Indigenous women.

• Pictou County Mental Illness Family Support Group – Meeting in Room B-120 at NSCC, 39 Acadia Ave. Stellarton, 7-9 p.m. Erik Nielsen, Probation Officer with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice will join the group. Everyone is welcome.
