Discover, share, learn, and innovate
Some days, you never quite know what you may find at the public library. From learning how to download an audiobook to listen on your iPod (or smart phone), to borrowing a Fun Fit pass to try out a local gym and pool.
Discovering a new jigsaw puzzle, to picking up a set Nordic Walking Poles. Borrowing a Radon Gas monitor to test your home, to finding a job online and printing a copy of your resume to apply.
Making art from repurposed recyclables to 3-D printing a copy of a lost board game piece, learning how to knit some warm woolen mittens, and tracing your family’s ancestry. Every day is a new discovery.
Coming up this week and next, we have two presentations on the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and the Old Age Security benefit (OAS) with Craig Graham, Service Canada.
