Lorne C.T. Ross, 62 of McPhersons Mills and formerly of Stellarton, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, in Berwick, at the residence of his companion, Sheila.

Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Isabel (MacDonald) Ross, Stellarton, and the late James Ross.

Lorne was a power engineer (first class), working at Sobeys, Sears and was Chief Engineer at St. F.X. University and Trenton Works until his retirement.

He liked to spend time at his camp in Greenvale, where he enjoyed gardening and 4-wheeling and loved his trips to Berwick.

Lorne will be dearly missed by his mother, Isabel; sister, Donna; niece, Denise Ross, New Glasgow; companion, Sheila Lewis, Berwick, her family, Cynthia (James), Valerie (Tim), Tammy (Randy) and Joanne; close friend, Fraser Baudoux; special aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lorne was predecease­d by a sister in infancy.

Lorne is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Rev. Karen Ross officiatin­g. Burial will be in MacLennans Mountain cemetery. Family flowers only.
