• Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary – Regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. in the first floor boardroom.

• New Glasgow Community Meeting – 7 p.m. at the Ward 1 Centre as a follow-up to the Sept. 11 4-Plus Community Meeting. Anyone interested in the New Glasgow Africentri­c Pre-Primary Program is encouraged to attend. Additional topics/initiative­s related to the success of students of African descent will also be addressed.

• Guitar Gospel Concert – at First Presbyteri­an, Stellarton at 7 p.m. Freewill offering. Proceeds split – Window Replacemen­t Fund and WARM Hearts. Refreshmen­ts to follow.

• Calling All Birders – Pictou library 6 p.m. Informal gathering to learn about our local birds, learning to identify and watch for unique birds in the neighborho­od.

• Community Café – Westville library 2:30 p.m. A safari in Botswana. Speaker Kelley Cavan talks babout the safari she went on. Coffee and snacks. All welcome.

• Riverton Cemetery – Annual meeting 7 p.m. in the Sharon St. John Church Parlour. Any person with connection­s to the Riverton Cemetery is encouraged and welcome to attend.

• Rotary Club of Westville – Annual auction at Westville Civic Centre Queen St. at 6:30 p.m. with auctioneer Adrian Van de Sande. Viewing 6 p.m., prior to live auction. All in at-

tendance will have a chance to win a door prize. Also, tickets for draw on a Coleman 3 burner propane barbecue.

• Grief Share Meetings – Christ Anglican Church, 50 Bridge Ave., Stellarton, 6:30 p.m. There are various losses in life, a loss of a job, a loved one, a pet, or having an empty nest. There are many types of grief and let this be a time of healing, sharing, and listening. Everyone welcome, free of charge.

• Gaelic Friends – Starting at Pictou library 2 p.m. Informal gathering of people who want to learn Gaelic.
