Beverly Mary Ann King, 72 of the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, passed away June 4, 2018, at the manor.

Born in Sydney, NS, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Annie Mae (MacNeil) Chuppa.

Bev worked doing demonstrat­ions for various companies during her working years. She was a member of Trinity United Church in New Glasgow. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, camping and Bluegrass Festivals.

She is survived by a son, Darryl Robert, Halifax; a sister, Maureen (Robert) MacDonald, Sydney River; a brother, Peter (Brenda) Chuppa, Sydney; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Barb), Kentville; John (Linda), Sydney River.

She was predecease­d by her husband, Robert, a son, Michael Todd, a sister, Lillian, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald and Gloria King, father- and mother-in law, Robert and Jen King.

Cremation to take place. A memorial service for family and close friends will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with Rev. Donna Tourneur presiding.

Burial will take place in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.

Donations in memory of Bev may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the SPCA or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Special thanks to her devoted friend Betty Richards and to the staff at the Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow where she was greatly cared for.
