Mountville man faces trial in December

PICTOU, N.S. — New trial dates have been set for a Mountville man charged with a series of drug and weapon offences.

Peter Alvin DeWolfe, 53, will go to trial Dec. 11, 12 and 13 after entering not guilty pleas to charges of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with a judicial recognizance in relation to a search and seizure at a commercial business in Westville in September. He is also facing multiple weapons charges related to an incident on Aug. 3, 2017.

DeWolfe continues to be held in custody until his next court appearance.
