Major Midgets lose two against Mustangs

WESTVILLE ROAD, N.S. — The Pictou County Weeks Major Midgets dropped a pair of games to the South Shore Mustangs on the weekend. Pictou County lost 4-0 Nov. 4 against the South Shore Mustangs, a day after the Mustangs edged Weeks in a 5-4 final at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. Jacob Melanson had a goal and two assists for Pictou County, while Blake Kontuk, Matthew Carson and Ryan Green also chipped in with goals.

Pictou County (4-11) has dropped three consecutive games, after winning three in a row in mid-October. Their next home game is Nov. 11 at noon against the Steele Subaru Major Midgets.
