New Glasgow - Warren C. Pitts, 1939-2018. With sadness of loss and celebratio­n of a life well-lived, we announce the death of Warren Pitts in his 80thyear, on Dec. 3, 2018, at the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital with his loving family by his side. Warren was a son of the late Mildred and Wilson Pitts of Charles Cove. He is survived his wife, Francis (Praught) and sons: Michael (Bunny), Terry; and daughter, Mary-Ellen. Poppie will be sadly missed by grandchild­ren: Nathan, Krista, Kale and Karlie, as well as 3 plus great-grandchild­ren, all of whom he was so proud. He was predecease­d by siblings: sister, Beatrice Richard (Raymond); brothers: Clarence (Mora), Andrew (Bunny), Hubert (Ann), Clayton, and a sister and brother in infancy. Warren was a retired welder from Kimberley Clarke with 27 years’ service. He spent many hours in his garage welding and fixing cars and this love and interest will live on through his sons who share his gift. In addition, Warren was an avid Habs fan. There will be no visitation by family request. Cremation has taken place and a celebratio­n of life and service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, Dec 11th at the Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow, NS, with a reception to follow in the Church Hall.
