SWEET, Sheila Marie Chance Harbour, NS

-

It is with broken hearts that we announce that Sheila Sweet, age 57, has left us on January 2, 2020, at QEII Halifax Infirmary. Sheila will be sadly missed by her four children, Leanne (Brent) Cameron, Laura (Christopher) Rogers, Mitchell Sweet (Jessica Nairn) and Staci (Brian) Wozney; her loving partner, Robert MacLean; grandsons, Kingston Sweet, Lucas Kenny and Luke Cameron; brothers, Brian (Sharie) Domke, Daniel (Marie) Domke; sisters, Lorraine (Gerry) Wiest and Dorothy Roth (John Reed). She will be forever remembered by many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Elizabeth Domke, and her sister, Maureen Domke. Sheila was born in Creston, BC, where her family nicknamed her Angel, as she was born shortly before Christmas. For most of her life, she called Pictou County, Nova Scotia, her home, where she was a devoted mother and raised her four children. She loved to travel and make memories, but also enjoyed a quiet evening at home. Her smile and laughter will never be forgotten. Friends and family are invited to share their memories at a celebration of life to be held at Hillside Community Centre (27 Chance Harbour Rd., Hillside) on January 26 at 3 p.m. If you would like to donate in her memory, please consider giving the gift of life by donating blood to Canadian Blood Services.
