Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library launches Stage 3 of resuming full library services

With a comprehensive cleaning plan, spacious seating arrangements, and thoughtful mix of online and in-person programs and services, the public library is ready to welcome people back into their spaces and reconnect with patrons.
Public input and feedback from the community and partners informed the plan for this stage which will be in place for the duration of the pandemic (following all current NS Public Health directives). This phase of recovery has several new elements including safe social spaces that are comfortable and easy to navigate; capacity to provide tech training while physically distanced; a broader range of loan materials; enhanced digital collections and online services; increased open hours; curbside pick-up; safe and appropriate programming.
The regional library is also developing an initiative to assist members of the public to connect with communitywide services and programs to alleviate social isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, and generally to help people locate local community resources and supports.

Library is a registered charitable organization that operates seven library branches, a Borrow-By-Mail service, and extensive online and digital resources.
