St. Catharines ‘disturbance’ caught on cellphones
The Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a “disturbance” in the area of St. Paul and James streets in St. Catharines at about 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Police attended the area where they located two male victims, said a news release. The victims appeared to be suffering from head and facial injuries.
Further investigation revealed that the victims and assailants were known to each other from an argument which occurred earlier in the evening on St. Paul Street.
Information was also received that a number of witnesses in the area at the time of the disturbance recorded the incident on their cellular devices.
