You’ll be there for a good time. And maybe a long time.

Canadian rock pillars Trooper, Tom Cochrane with Red Rider and Chilliwack will play a triple-bill at the Scotiabank Convention Centre Dec. 28.

Tickets for what’s being dubbed A Night of Canadian Rock start at $46.50 (taxes and fees included) and go on sale Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. online at sccniagara.ticketpro and fallsconventions.com, or by phone at 1-888997-6222.

The night will also have a ‘Bands-BitesBrews’ theme, in which concertgoers can sample dishes and Canadian beers during the show.

Scotiabank Convention Centre vice president of sales & marketing Judy Mahoney says it will be a night of “Canadian rock heroes” who’ve won “practically every Canadian music award possible.”

Cochrane, an Officer of the Order of Canada and eight-time Juno winner, recently reworked the lyrics of his classic anthem “Big League” to honour the Humboldt Broncos hockey team following a bus crash in April in which several players were killed.

Trooper has been a staple at Canadian parties for decades with hits like “Raise a Little Hell” and “We’re Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time).” Their greatest hits album “Hot Shots” is one of the topselling Canadian albums of all time.

Chilliwack notched several Canadian hits during the ‘70s and ‘80s, including

“Fly at Night” and “Watcha Gonna Do.” The Vancouver band had its biggest hit in 1981 with “My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone),” which also cracked the Top 30 in the U.S.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
