Age: 49 Occupation: Teacher (with NCDSB), and city councillor Niagara Falls

Previous political experience: Councillor since 1994

Community work: Currently chair city finance committee and committee of adjustments; Currently chair, Park in the City and Sleep Cheap, Charities Reap committees; Creator and current chair, WonderFalls Pass; Special needs running guide; Original member BoxClimb (2016) charity event; Past chair of Community Centre Steering Committee, Recreation committee, Community Services Committee 2000 to 2004.

Top issue: Listening to constituents’ concerns and finding viable solutions is imperative. On council, I have brought a sensible and grounded approach to problem solving while addressing the needs of the community in a fiscally responsible manner.

Why are you running? To ensure ideas and plans prepared for the benefit of our city are accomplished and implemented. I’m a firm believer that ideas are only beneficial if they move beyond politics and become practical to our citizens.

Why should voters choose you: My concerns for the community I was raised in, and continue to raise my family within, are genuine. I want our younger generation to find opportunity and a sustainable lifestyle in a city that’s growing and adapting to the changes in our society.
