Tai Chi, taught by George Kerr, has moved to Murray Street Baptist Church. Classes for beginner students take place Mondays at 1 p.m., Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and Fridays at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to learn about the benefits of Tai Chi to both body and mind. RIVERVIEW PARK AND ZOO EVENTS:

Meet the Keeper program with a zoo staff member discussing a different zoo animal at 1 p.m. each weekday. Otter feeding from 1:30 and 4 p.m. every day. Conservati­on exhibit located in the Orientatio­n Centre near the main office 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. weekends with informatio­n on Ontario local species at risk and habit loss and protection, activities for children, live native species. VOYAGEUR CANOE TOURS:

Canadian Canoe Museum with Parks Canada offer a voyageur tour on the Trent-Severn Waterway through the Lift Lock. No experience or equipment is required. The summer season runs Friday to Sunday (including both Civic Holiday and Labour Day Mondays) until September 7, while the fall season runs Saturday and Sunday from September 10 to October 11. The 1.5 hour tour runs each day at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Rates (including HST) are $20 for adults, $15 for youth (aged 6 to 17) and free for ages 5 and under. There is also a family package available (two adults and up to three kids) for $75. Infants (30 lbs and under) are not permitted in the canoes due to safety limitation­s. Tickets can be purchased at the loading dock at the Peterborou­gh Lift Lock with credit card, debit or exact cash, or online at http:// www.canoemuseu­m.ca/ voyageur-canoe-tours.
