City cricketers win
The Peterborough Cricket Association scored 202 runs i n 30 overs to defeat Greensborough Cricket Club by 71 runs i n Markham Premier Cricket League action at Milroy Park on Saturday. Sankar Sekaran scored 44 runs and two wickets for Peterborough with Pradeep Naik contributing 54 runs. Sukhdeep Dhaliwal scored added 23 runs with 20 scored by Balbir Ghori and 17 scored by Arif Khan. Dinesh Patel and Mairaj Alam tallied two wickets each with Jerome adding one. In earlier action on July 16, the team was defeated by the United Titans A team, scoring 154 runs to lose by 12. Sekaran led the team with 65 runs and three wickets with Shariq Shah adding 21 runs. Patel and Dhaliwal recorded three wickets each.
