Ozzy says marriage is back on track after reports of infidelity led to temporary split
Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed his marriage to Sharon Osbourne is “back on track.”
The couple hit headlines in May when it was revealed their 34-year marriage had hit the rocks and they were living apart amid allegations of Ozzy’s infidelity, and Sharon later confessed she had kicked him out of their marital home but was unsure about pursuing a divorce.
However, sources claimed over the past few months the estranged couple have been working on their marriage, and appeared to be back together after they were spotted taking a stroll in Los Angeles earlier this month. Ozzy has now confirmed they are in a good place once again.
When asked by interviewer Jesse Palmer about his “separation” on on Monday, Ozzy disputed the word and corrected Palmer by calling it “just a bump in the road,” and when Palmer mentioned that fans are backing their reconciliation, the rocker replied, “It’s back on track again.”
Ozzy appeared on the show with his son Jack to speak about their new history show
and Jack, who has been married to wife Lisa since 2012, jumped in to explain that marriage isn’t always rosy.
“As a married person myself, marriage is not like, ‘Hey, we’re married, all is good.’ I mean, it’s just life,” and Ozzy continued by revealing how much he hates the cliched term “happily ever after.”
“I’d like to find the person who wrote that, and poke him in the eye with a burning stick.
“Some days it’s good, some days it’s terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while, but you get back on the horse, you know,” the 67-year-old said.
Sharon, 63, and Ozzy married in 1982 and have three adult children.
