An escape maze adventure
Unique locked room game is part of the Farm, Fields and Food Tour happening on Sept. 11
There’s gold in them thar hills of Otonabee-South Monaghan - virtual gold, that is.
Escape Maze is a centre of adventure games in which participants follow the trail of a gold prospector, facing challenges along the way. Teammates can work together to set the best time record or compete against other teams. In The Shaft, a live interactive game, prospectors must be wary of The Shaft People who live underground. Four Escape Rooms provide puzzles, games and locks that must be solved before time runs out.

The Farms, Fields and Food Tour self-guided tour map will be out soon. Local participants of the Sun., Sept. 11 event include Elmhirst’s Resort, Harley Farms, Muddy’s Pit BBQ, The Mane Intent, Doo Doo’s Bakery and The Escape Maze. Check the OSM township website for more information.
Farmers’ Market
Keene will be the scene of another farmer’s market, just in time for the long weekend. Sugar Valley Farm will be there with corn fed beef, homemade beef steak and chicken pot pies and pure maple syrup. Otonabee apiary will be there too with local honey and beeswax candles.
