HOME ON THE RANCH DRESSING

Makes 1 cup (250 ml) 1/2 cup (125 mL) sour cream 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise 2-3 tbsp (30-45 mL) milk 1 tsp (5 mL) white vinegar 1 sprig fresh flat-leaf parsley 1 sprig fresh dill 1/2 garlic clove, crushed Salt and black pepper Stir together the sour cream, mayonnaise, milk, and vinegar in a small bowl. Snip the parsley and dill into tiny pieces with clean scissors. Measure about 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of each into the bowl. Add the garlic, and salt and pepper to taste, and stir. Give it a taste test, and add more salt or herbs if you’d like. Serve it right away or store in a jar in the fridge.
