Minor Atom AAA Petes win pair of exhibition games

The Peterborou­gh Russelle Chiropract­ic Canadian Hockey Enterprise­s Minor Atom AAA Petes defeated the Kingston Frontenacs in back-to-back exhibition games this past weekend. On Saturday, the Petes overpowere­d the Frontenacs 5-3 at home. Owen Fitzgerald scored three goals for Peterborou­gh with singles added by Camden Burke and Zach Russelle. Assists went to Holden Rutherford, Ben Bowen, Nathan Gerelus, and Russelle. Lewis Brocklehur­st and Masen Johnston combined their efforts in net. The team travelled to Kingston for game two on Sunday, walking away with a 5-2 win. Travis Maxwell, Quinn Jacobs, Tyler Bolton, Rutherford, and Bowen scored for Peterborou­gh assisted by Graydon Jones, Bolton, Jacobs, Bowen, and Brocklehur­st. Johnston and Brocklehur­st supported the Petes in net.
