BLOOD: Mayor Daryl Bennett and Jewell Bennett are hosting their seventh annual blood donor clinic at the Canadian Blood Services permanent clinic on George St. N. The drive continues Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.

ART: The Kawartha Artists Gallery and Studio at 420 O’Connell Rd. presents Black & White + One Colour, an all-members show and sale of art in black and white with maybe one additional colour added. MUSEUM: The Peterborou­gh Museum and Archives presents the What Lies Beneath Canadian Shipwrecks of Lake Superior exhibit until Sept. 18. The exhibition tells the largely undocument­ed stories of many but not all of the ships that wrecked in Canadian waters - passenger liners, war ships, freighters, ghost ships, yachts, fishing boats and tugs. Featuring dozens of artifacts, and supplement­ed by local collection­s. On loan from the Thunder Bay Museum. The museum is located on Hunter St. E. atop Armour Hill. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekdsays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Admission by donation.

SENIORS: Whitlaw Mariners Seniors Club, located at McDonnel St. Activity Centre, has bid euchre and darts at 1 p.m. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and includes soup or sandwich for $2.50 and desserts for $1 to $2.
