Two more teens charged

City police said Friday that they have now charged three youths with attempted murder in Thursday afternoon’s stabbing of a 16-yearold boy at a home on Corrigan Hill Road in the city’s southeast end. A 16-year-old boy who was known to the stabbing victim was initially arrested near the home on Thursday and charged with attempted murder. He was to appear in court Friday. Two more youths have now also been arrested and charged with attempted murder, police said Friday. Police did not release the ages or genders of the other two youths but there are unconfirme­d reports that they are also both 16-year-old boys. The three accused and the stabbing victim cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The 16-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times and was taken by air ambulance to the trauma unit of a Toronto hospital.
