Family addition

Petes’ assistant coach Kurtis Foster and his wife Stephanie welcomed a new daughter into the world on Thursday. Halle and mother are home and doing well and join brothers Jackson and Charlie.

Foster was back with the Petes Saturday after missing Friday’s game in Hamilton.

Roster notes

Cole Fraser was scratched Saturday as he’s nursing a minor upper body injury and is considered day-to-day, said Petes’ head coach Jody Hull. It allowed Matyas Svoboda back into the lineup. Nikita Korostelev was also out with a lower body injury but the Petes hope he’ll be back Thursday against Ottawa.
