Authors for Indie tour comes to Hunter Street Books

Hunter Street Books in downtown Peterborou­gh is hosting 10 Canadian writers on April 29 as part of a Canada-wide event.

It’s called Authors for Indies, part of a national campaign in support of independen­t bookstores.

More than 65 stores from across the country are participat­ing, including Hunter Street Books.

Hundreds of Canadian authors will take part; they will all be volunteeri­ng as guest bookseller­s at the stores.

Hunter Street Books is located at 164 Hunter St. W., Unit 3.
