Police look to identify woman in bomb threat case
Images taken from a security camera offer a look at a woman Peterborough County OPP believe is linked to the bomb scare that restricted access to Bridgenorth for several hours Monday.
Police say the threat was made by phone from a pay phone at Parkhill Rd. and George St. A security camera captured images of a woman with blonde hair and dark roots and an older-model Hyundai Santa Fe SUV.
The woman may have information relevant to the case, police say.
The threat was made to a dental office in the Chemong Medical Centre on Ward St. just after 9 a.m. Monday, prompting a shutdown of roads in the area. No bomb or suspicious package was located, and police say there was no risk to the public.
