MUSEUM: A Matter of Ownership: First Nations Objects in the PMA Collections exhibition runs until June 25. The exhibition examines the role and responsibilities of the PMA as a steward of First Nations collections and questions whether these objects should remain in the collection. This exhibition features objects from the PMA's permanent collection - many of which were originally collected and donated to Peterborough's Victoria Museum (which opened in 1897). At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays. Admission by donation.
ART: The Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio presents The Best of High School Art show, a celebration of local high school art. This is a juried show with an awards ceremony. Feature Piece: 2016 Outdoor Painters prize winner Portrait by Maurice Ridewood, PACE. The show runs until Wednesday. SENIORS: Whitlaw Mariners Seniors Club, located at McDonnel St. Activity Centre, has shuffleboard session at 10 a.m. Cards are also played on Tuesdays, with bridge at 1 p.m. and bid euchre and regular euchre at 7 p.m. For those unfamiliar with bid euchre, lessons will be offered on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. until June 27. New this season, on Tuesdays, the Centre will also be offering Chair Yoga at 9 a.m. and Regular Yoga at 10:30 a.m. Chair Yoga is $30 for ten one-hour sessions and Regular Yoga is $45 for ten oneand-a-half-hour sessions.
