MUSEUM: A Matter of Ownership: First Nations Objects in the PMA Collection­s exhibition runs until June 25. The exhibition examines the role and responsibi­lities of the PMA as a steward of First Nations collection­s and questions whether these objects should remain in the collection. This exhibition features objects from the PMA's permanent collection - many of which were originally collected and donated to Peterborou­gh's Victoria Museum (which opened in 1897). At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays. Admission by donation.

ART: The Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio presents Daydreamin­g, Paintings from My Mind's Eye, a solo show featuring works by local artist Mary Derrick. Runs until June 18.
