New app leads you to water

- NAOMI STOCK naomi.stock@gmail.com

Have you ever wondered where you can fill up your reuseable water bottle when you are downtown? A new website www. BlueWptbo.ca can now help you find filling stations. Use the map on your mobile device to locate all of the local business and public buildings that allow you to come in and fill up your reuseable water bottle with fresh drinking water, for free, without compelling you to make any additional purchases.

There are already many filling locations downtown, including City Hall, the Art Gallery of Peterborough, Silver Bean Café, and Wild Rock Outfitters; look for a Blue W decal in windows of participating organizations. Businesses or workplaces that are able to fill up reuseable water bottles with tap water are invited to visit the website and sign up as a filling station.
