This year’s continued rainy weather has made farming challenging to say the least. Thankfully recently we’ve had a few stretches of dry weather which has allowed farmers to get hay in the barn for the winter.

As a result of the haying, you’ll notice more tractor and wagons on our local roadways. Please be respectful and allow the farmers to get where they are going safely.

It may slow your drive down slightly but the farmers are only doing their jobs.

In the province there has already been at least one fatality and several other accidents involving tractors on the roads. A few extra minutes isn’t worth a life.
