The Peterborough Ontario Carpet Supermart Junior Tigers men’s baseball team won the championship at the Peterborough Civic Tournament held over the weekend at Riverside Park.
The Junior Tigers rallied with four wins on Sunday, beating Mississauga, Toronto and Guelph and then finishing with a 4-2 win in extra innings in the championship game over the Peterborough Hobies Sports Senior Tigers.
