If you thought you saw former child star Emmanuel Lewis, from the 1980s sitcom Webster, at the Memorial Centre on Thursday night, you did.

Lewis has been spending time in Six Nations since 2012 when he got involved in setting up a film studio there with two Six Nations businessme­n. He’s come to know many in the community including staff from the Six Nations Chiefs and accompanie­d them to Peterborou­gh for Game 2 of their MSL final.

WLA final

The New Westminste­r Salmonbell­ies hold a 2-1 lead over the Victoria Shamrocks in the Western Lacrosse Associatio­n final. The series winner will host the MSL champion for the Mann Cup.

The Salmonbell­ies won Game 3 by a 14-4 margin at home on Tuesday. Game 4 is in Victoria on Friday night.

Kawartha Food Share

Fans are reminded the Lakers are partnering with Kawartha Food Share for Game 3 on Sunday at the PMC.

Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to the game which starts at 7 p.m. Game sponsor Sobeys/Foodland are also making a donation of nonperisha­ble grocery items.

New video screens

The new video screens in the PMC score clock were used for the first time during Thursday’s game. The Petes and City of Peterborou­gh partnered on the project.

Roster notes

The Lakers made no lineup changes from Game 1. Dylan Evans is expected to be out another two weeks with an ankle injury. Turner Evans returned for Game 1 after missing Game 6 against Brooklin with a lower body ailment.
