Senior ladies slo-pitch
The women showed the guys how it’s done at Shannonville Drags on Aug. 12 and 13 at Shannonville Motorsport Park.
Jess McEvoy won the Sportsman class both days while Karen Irvine won the Street class and Samantha Chatwood topped the Junior Dragster on the Saturday.
Aubrey Boyer took runner up in Junior Dragster on Sunday while Kari Spriggs was a semifinalist in Nostalgia class on Saturday.
The rest of the results for Saturday’s Series five included Super Pro winner John Golka followed by Jason Chatwood; Sportsman winner Jess McEvoy Karen Irvine won the Street Class during Shannonville Drag Racing Series races at Shannonville Motorsport Park on Aug. 12. then Glenn Tandy; Nostalgia front-runner Al Senour and runner up Larry Killoran; Street winner Irvine ahead of Brad Parks; Junior Dragster’s Chatwood over Nathan Hoskins and Junior Open’s Trevor Connell outran Cole Iwanitzky.
The Sunday Series 6 changed up the points with only McEvoy repeating her Saturday win.
In Super Pro Darren Frasso topped Daniel Barker; Sportsman winner McEvoy beat Larry MacDonald; Tandy took Nostalgia followed by Doug Fulton; Street. Points leader Brad Parks over Tim George; Junior Dragster’s Tyson Martorino beat his little sister Aubrey Boyer and Junior Open winner Iwanitzky traded places from Saturday by besting Connell.
