The production is based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the classic horror novel and is adapted by Stephen Dietz.

You can purchase tickets online and select seats at http://theatreguild.org/playbill/ or contact the box office at 705- 745-4211 to reserve your seats.

Play reading

Play readings return to the Peterborough Theatre Guild, usually held the last Sunday of each month. ‘Six Dance lessons in Six Weeks’ by Richard Alfieri is planned for Sat. Sept. 30 and the readings take place upstairs in the Gwen Brown Studio at the Guild at 7 p.m.

In this comedy-drama, the widow of a Baptist minister hires a gay, acerbic dance instructor to give her dance lessons.

The play will be read by JP Baldwin and Bea Quarrie.

The readings are meant to encourage contemporary writers, actors, potential directors and anyone interested in hearing new, old or obscure scripts come to life through a reading.

Play readings are presented at no cost to the audience, but free will donations are welcomed. A cash bar is also open before and after the readings at the Gwen Brown studio.
