MARKET: Peterborou­gh Downtown Farmers' Market final market of the season from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Louis Street parking lot.

THEATRE: Parents Night, a one-act play written by George F. Walker and directed by Chris Lee is being presented by the Peterborou­gh Theatre Guild at the Gwen Brown Studio, upstairs at 364 Rogers St. It's a comedy set in an elementary school on a parents night and is the guild's entry into the Eastern Ontario Drama League's One-Act Play Festival. Performanc­es continue Wednesday to Saturday at 8 p.m., with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. Saturday – tickets are sold out for all of those shows so an additional performanc­e has been added for Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $10.

MUSEUM: Voices from the Engraver exhibit, featuring reproducti­ons of original art, printing plates, tools, rare stamps and money, offering an enriching look into the beauty and intricacy of Canadian stamps and bank notes, on display until Dec. 10. This travelling exhibit comes from the Bank of Canada Museum and was produced in part by the Canadian Museum of History. At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. ART: The Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio presents Rural Outlook, an art show and sale featuring works from KAGS' Outdoor Painters Group. The feature piece is The Homestead by Norma MacEachern. The show runs until Nov. 12. The opening reception will be held at the gallery on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The gallery is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 1 to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
