WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1

MUSEUM: Voices from the Engraver exhibit, featuring reproducti­ons of original art, printing plates, tools, rare stamps and money, offering an enriching look into the beauty and intricacy of Canadian stamps and bank notes, on display until Dec. 10. This travelling exhibit comes from the Bank of Canada Museum and was produced in part by the Canadian Museum of History. At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays. Admission by donation.

ART: The Kawartha Artists’ Gallery and Studio presents Rural Outlook, an art show and sale featuring works from KAGS’ Outdoor Painters Group. The feature piece is The Homestead by Norma MacEachern. PUMPKINS DISPLAY: People are invited to bring their jack-o-lanterns to the Rotary Greenway Trail, behind Ashburnham Ale House on Hunter St. E., between 6 and 10 p.m. to light up the trail between Douro and Hunter streets. TRENT FILM SOCIETY: Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975, rated R), 8 p.m. at Market Hall, 140 Charlotte St. Free, all are welcome.
