MUSEUM: Voices from the Engraver exhibit, featuring reproducti­ons of original art, printing plates, tools, rare stamps and money, offering an enriching look into the beauty and intricacy of Canadian stamps and bank notes, on display until Dec. 10. This travelling exhibit comes from the Bank of Canada Museum and was produced in part by the Canadian Museum of History. At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. ART: The Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio presents Stretch Marks,an exhibition and sale featuring works from artist Donna Bolam, her daughter-in-law Dawn Bolam, and her granddaugh­ter Emma Bolam. WINTERFEST: The 2017 Peterborou­gh Winterfest event, a fundraiser for the Five Counties Children's Centre, runs from Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. at Peterborou­gh Square, featuring a free kids zone with crafts, games and activities, free entertainm­ent and concerts and a tree forest. Cast a ballot to win one of the beautifull­y decorated trees.

TRAIL LIGHTING: The city is holding an official opening ceremony for the trail lighting project on the Rotary Greenway Trail at 11 a.m. on the trail, just south of Whitaker Street.
