MUSEUM: Voices from the Engraver exhibit, featuring reproducti­ons of original art, printing plates, tools, rare stamps and money, offering an enriching look into the beauty and intricacy of Canadian stamps and bank notes, on display until Dec.

10. This travelling exhibit comes from the Bank of Canada Museum and was produced in part by the Canadian Museum of History. At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays. Admission by donation.

WORKSHOP: Keeping the Door Open: Creating an Inclusive Care Environmen­t for LGBTQ Seniors, a free half-day educationa­l training workshop for individual­s and organizati­ons working with older adults, health care, long-term care homes and retirement Homes to understand the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgende­r and queer adults, and how to create a safe and LGBTQ - inclusive care environmen­t for older adults, their friends and family. ART: The Kawartha Artists'

Gallery and Studio presents The Winter Show, an art show and sale featuring works from KAGS' members. Feature piece: Out in the Canoe by Daniel Marlatt.
