Bunn, Burnett set Ontario IFAA archery records

Two new Ontario IFAA archery records were set at Saugeen Shafts last weekend.

Jason Bunn set a new Mens Compound Fixed Pins record by one point with a perfect 30052X and Zoe Burnett broke her Ontario record in the Women Cadet Recurve by one X posting a 279-23X.

Once again the youth divisions were on top with Mackenzie Costello taking the silver behind Zoe Burnett in the Womens Cadet Recurve.

Amelia Gagne won the gold in the Women Cub recurve by out distancing her competitio­n by over 100 points.

Dustin Watson was first in the Men Cun Compound, while Sam tayor was first in the men Pre-Cub Compound.

Kendra Wright edged by Kasey Bunn with one point to take the Women Pre-Cub Compound division.

In the Women PeeWee class Alexis McGillivra­y placed first.

In the Women Junior Compound class, Jessica Watson won the gold.

Randy Rogers placed second behind Jason Bunn in the Men Compound Fixed Pins division.

In the Men Master Compound Angus Tayor was second followed by Dave Smeall.

Dave Watson was third in the Men Compound class.

The Men Master Barebow was won by Mike Hovey and Dianne West won the Women Master Compound Unlimited.

The next tournament for the Peterborou­gh archers is Jan. 14 at Saugeen Shafts, shooting the IFAA format.
