Two men charged in the killing of a Stewart St. resident in 2016 will set a date in February for their pre-trial.

Jordan Osborne, of Aylmer St., and Joseph Crawford, of Dalhousie St., are both charged in connection with the killing of Terry Pringle.

Pringle, 42, was found dead of blunt force trauma in his apartment in Nov. 2016. Six people, including a pair of teenage boys, were charged in the killing.

Osborne, 25, is facing firstdegree murder, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and accessory to murder.

Crawford, 29, is charged conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and accessory to murder.

They’ll be in Peterborough’s Superior Court of Justice on Feb. 7 to set a date for their pre-trial. The duo will later be tried before a jury.

Meanwhile, the judge-alone trial for one of the youth allegedly involved in Pringle’s death starts Monday. The 16-year-old, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The other three co-accused, Christopher Bolton, Samantha Hall and the other teenager, pleaded guilty and have been sentenced.

Bolton, of Bethune St., got 9 1/2 months in jail for conspiracy to commit assault causing bodily harm.

Hall, of Stewart St., was sentenced to about 11 more months in jail for conspiracy to commit an indictable offence causing bodily harm.

A 17-year-old boy got another eight months in jail and then four months supervised in the community for manslaughter.
