Brooke Shields is gearing up to unveil her first clothing collection.

The actress has had a long association with the fashion industry, appearing on the cover of Vogue magazine at age 14 in 1980 and famously fronting advertisements for Calvin Klein jeans.

Shields has now teamed with U.S. shopping channel QVC to launch her new apparel and accessories line, Brooke Shields Timeless.

“After years of being dressed by professionals, I walked into my closet one day and realized I had lost sight of my own personal style,” the 52-year-old said of the inspiration behind her collaboration, according to WWD. “I am incredibly passionate about this collection because I have created pieces that are not only chic, but that take the guesswork out of getting ready each morning.”

Shields’ collection includes high waisted black trousers, striped T-shirts, skirts, button-up shirts and scarves, as well as jewelry.

Doug Howe, chief merchandising officer for QVC, said that Shields was a natural fit for the brand.

“What we love about working with Brooke is her dedication to helping women live better lives, which is something we are passionate about as well,” Howe said. “Brooke’s line is sophisticated but approachable and is ideal for busy women who crave fashion that is not only chic and effortless, but a perfect mix of modern and timeless.”

Initial items will launch on the network Feb .15, with the full collection set to be released March 14. Retail prices range from US$29-US$109, with the majority between US$39 and US$69.
