Man beaten outside bar

City police are looking for two men after an incident outside a downtown pub early Sunday morning.

A man in his 20s got into an argument with another man outside the place at about 1:20 a.m. When the first man was assaulted, a friend tried to intervene and was assaulted by a second man at the scene.

Police and paramedics arrived and took the first man to hospital for treatment of his injuries. A description of one suspect was available. Police are looking for a black man, about 6’2”, with a thin build, a flattop haircut and wearing a gold chain and black clothes. Aimee Wellman took to her Facebook page to say that her brother Cody was attacked outside The Social pub on George St. N. She posted a photo of him after the attack and appealed to witnesses to come forward to the police.
